Jamia in Norway is a religious community and part of a global network committed to promoting a holistic, peaceful, and clear understanding of Islam. We align ourselves with the vision and values that provide a comprehensive picture of Islam, focusing on love, coexistence, tolerance, peace, and knowledge as taught by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Since our foundation in February 1995, we have worked diligently to build a bridge between Muslims and the broader society in Norway.
