Jamia in Norway is a religious community and part of a global network committed to promoting a holistic, peaceful, and clear understanding of Islam. We align ourselves with the vision and values that provide a comprehensive picture of Islam, focusing on love, coexistence, tolerance, peace, and knowledge as taught by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Since our foundation in February 1995, we have worked diligently to build a bridge between Muslims and the broader society in Norway.
Jamia Norway aims to promote a holistic and peaceful understanding of Islam while fostering coexistence, tolerance, and knowledge within the broader Norwegian society. We strive to build bridges between Muslims and the larger community through education, spiritual growth, and community service.
Jamia Norway operates several forums, including Jamia Youth, Jamia Women’s Forum, Jamia Welfare, Jamia Conflict Council, and Jamia School. Each forum focuses on specific aspects of community engagement and support.
Jamia Norway offers a variety of educational programs, including religious studies, youth education, and women’s empowerment initiatives. These programs are designed to promote Islamic knowledge and values while being relevant to modern times.
You can support Jamia Norway by donating, volunteering, or spreading the word about our work. Your contributions help us continue our mission of promoting Islamic values and serving the community.
